The Play Store is flooded with tons of apps on various kinds. They belong to the health, utility, finance, sport and a lot other category. What fascinates the mobile users a lot are the gaming apps. Game apps never run out of date. They grab the attraction of both the young and the old alike. One game app that I saw my cousin play recently is the Mountain Madness. I loved the interesting app and downloaded it for myself as well.
Mountain Madness features a cute little penguin who escapes from a house as the angry avalanche comes along in a hot pursuit. The penguin glides down using the ski boards to reach the finish line. The difficulty increases as the level gets higher. The levels are clearly tracked at the top of the screen and the gold coins collected are also correctly displayed.
The objective of the game is to ski fast, dodge the trespassing skiers and reach the finish line to get safe. As you march towards the finish line, you will have to deal with many fellow trespassers by controlling your speed such that you don’t knock them off as you may end up hurting yourself. You must also be aware of the trees that stand tall. When you get hit by them, you will be thrown wide and fall dead.
A clean and neat plan will make you win. All the control lies with how you move your thumb finger. You can move the character from left to right using your thumb and also maintain your speed. When you make a near miss from the hurdles, you earn more points. The closer you go, the higher you score. A strategic player will definitely win and with time you will be able to master the game.
The game is full of fun and I would love to see a multiplayer option to share the entire fun with my fellow friends. I wish the awesome team of JaffaJam will come up with an idea like this to increase the pleasures of playing the game. However, I can share my achievements in the game via the share button on Facebook, WhatsApp and other social media.
The background music and sound effects are so nice and they can be muted as and when we prefer. I also loved the vibrant colors and graphics of the game as it was very fresh throughout the gaming experience. On the whole, Mountain Madness is one complete recreation to both the kids and adults when they get gaming on.
The app is free for download and has in-app purchases for adding other characters and equipment. An ad free version can also be unlocked. This casual game app is available for both iPhone and Android users.
